Is a wife considered to be menstruating if a dark-colored fluid followed by a whitish, viscous substance is discharged from her, assuming the head of the penis was inserted into her vagina?

The white discharge that appears after the brownish discharge (kudra) is considered a sign of the cessation of menstruation and purity from it, if the brownish discharge was counted as menstruation. As for the insertion of the tip of the penis, if it was not preceded by menstruation, there is no sin. However, if it was preceded by menstruation that had not ceased or the wife had not performed ghusl (definition) (ritual bath) after it, then there is sin if it was intentional, and repentance and seeking forgiveness are obligatory. If it was not intentional, then there is no sin. The majority of scholars prohibit sexual intercourse with the wife after her purity from menstruation and before she performs ghusl, based on the Almighty’s saying: "And do not approach them until they are pure. But when they have purified themselves, then come to them from where Allah has ordered you" (Al-Baqarah: 222). This verse stipulates two conditions for the permissibility of intercourse: the cessation of blood and performing ghusl.
