Is it confirmed that the Prophet (peace be upon him) prayed two rak'ahs after the Eid prayer?

No evidence has been reported to confirm the authenticity of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, praying two rak'ahs after the Eid prayer. Rather, what is established is that he would deliver a sermon after the two rak'ahs and encourage women to give charity, or he would be occupied with preparing an expedition. It has not been established that he prayed anything other than the two Eid rak'ahs in the prayer ground.
