Is it permissible for a homosexual man – who is not sexually or emotionally inclined towards women – to marry out of fear of committing a forbidden act and a desire not to wrong his wife, or should he avoid marriage, or should he surrender to his homosexuality?
Inclination towards young men and aversion to women is a form of trial. One should be patient with it and supplicate for well-being and chastity. Hasten to marry and do not hesitate, for it is the best way to quell desires. There is encouragement for it in the Quran and , such as Allah's saying: "And marry the unmarried among you..." (Quran 24:32), and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O young people, whoever among you can afford to marry, let him do so..." With marriage and sincere determination, you will find well-being. Be diligent in fasting, for it breaks desires, keep company with the righteous, and avoid temptation.
