What is the ruling on a mother embracing her adult son and sleeping with him in the same bed, and what is the ruling on looking at the 'awrah of a child (male or female), and what is the ruling on a 7-year-old girl wearing shorts in the swimming pool with only her brothers?

A man may embrace his mahram (unmarriageable kin) and sleep with her in the same bed, provided three conditions are met: there is no fear of fitna (temptation/strife) from either side, there is no physical adhesion (touching skin-to-skin), and there is no nakedness. However, it is preferable to avoid embracing and sleeping in the same bed to prevent suspicion. Regarding looking at a child's awrah (private parts), it is permissible before the age of seven without desire. After seven, the severe awrah differs between male and female. It is not permissible for a girl over seven to uncover her awrah and swim with her brothers if there is someone whose desire might be aroused or who could describe what they see.
