We have previously explained that if writings do not contain anything revered in Islamic law, such as texts of revelation, the names of Allah Almighty, or the names of prophets and angels, then it is not obligatory to revere them. Rather, it is only recommended to preserve them if they are written in Arabic script, due to its sanctity. What you mentioned, there is no harm in leaving it or disposing of it in the trash, especially since this has become a widespread issue, and it is difficult to guard against it.
