Is it permissible for a Muslim man to marry a fornicatress who claims to have repented, with the intention of concealing her past and earning reward?

It is better for a believer to marry a righteous woman who will help him in his religious and worldly affairs, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Marry the religious woman; may your hands be soiled."

A righteous wife is not of this world; rather, she devotes herself to the Hereafter. If the woman mentioned is a disbeliever, it is not permissible to marry her, whether she is from the People of the Book or not. Allah has stipulated chastity as a condition for the permissibility of marrying a woman from the People of the Book.

If she is a Muslim and has repented with a true repentance and has become steadfast, then it is permissible to marry her. However, it is not permissible to marry her merely because she says she will repent; rather, her repentance must be confirmed, and her womb must be cleared.
