Is the department I joined permissible, knowing that the cheating I committed in the exam does not affect my eligibility for it?

Praise be to Allah, who guided you to repent from the sin. There is no objection to continuing in the department you joined, as long as you are eligible for it after deducting the grades obtained through cheating. We advise you to maintain your repentance and strive in your studies.
