The answer

The Quran is the word of Allah, even if recited without applying the rules of Tajwid such as elongation (madd) and an echo (qalqalah), and others. These rules emerged after the Companions, even though they were practically present during the time of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Failing to observe them does not alter the true nature of the Quran.
