Is it permissible to prostrate on something movable like a prayer mat (hijab al-salat) or a car?

It is permissible to prostrate during prayer on a garment, a mat, or a turban's coil, and it is not obligatory for the worshipper's body to directly touch the ground with any of these limbs. Prostrating on a turban's coil, a sleeve, or the hem of a garment results in a valid prayer. This is the view of Malik and Abu Hanifa.
