Is it permissible for my second husband to participate in a righteous deed (thawab) for my deceased husband?

Charity given on behalf of the deceased is a form of kindness towards them and something from which they benefit. Scholars have agreed that its reward reaches the deceased, based on what has been narrated in the Hadith regarding the permissibility of giving charity on behalf of the deceased and that its reward reaches them. Therefore, if the charity for the deceased husband is given from the wife's personal money, it is a good deed for which she will be rewarded. However, if it is given from the deceased husband's money, she is only entitled to her share of the inheritance, as it has become an inheritance for all heirs. There is no objection to the second husband participating in charity for the deceased husband, and he will receive reward according to his intention and action.
