How are congregational prayers and their reward perceived? Is every congregation rewarded? What is the ruling on one who waits for the Imam to form a new congregation?

The reward for congregational prayer surpasses that of individual prayer by twenty-seven degrees. This reward is attained with just two people, and the reward increases with the growing number of worshippers. As for establishing another congregation after the Imam has finished praying, there is no harm if the worshippers did not catch the virtue of the congregational prayer. However, it is disliked to establish two congregations simultaneously in the same mosque if that leads to disruption and disunity, though their prayer remains valid.
