Is the marriage of a man to a girl whose maternal uncle undertook her marriage considered valid, despite her father's abstention from attending the marriage contract?

The majority of scholars hold that a woman's marriage without her guardian's permission is invalid and must be annulled, unless a Sharia judge rules it to be valid. The child, in all cases, is attributed to the husband. If the judge does not rule the first marriage to be valid, then it must be annulled, and a new marriage contract, fulfilling all conditions and pillars, should be concluded for the new marriage. If the father refuses to give permission for marriage, the woman should refer the matter to the judge to arrange her marriage.
