The jinn can kill humans, though this is very rare. This happened to Sa'd ibn 'Ubada, whom the jinn killed after he urinated in a hole that was their dwelling. Also, the jinn abducted a man in the time of 'Umar, and he remained with them for four years, after which Muslim jinn returned him following their war with the polytheistic jinn.
