Is it permissible to combine two or more intentions in a single act of charity?

It is permissible to combine more than one intention when giving charity, for Allah's bounty is vast, and He has encouraged His servants to seek His grace. Allah mentioned about His Prophet Noah, peace be upon him, his saying: (And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever Forgiving. He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [abundance]. And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers.') (Noah: 10-12). This indicates that seeking forgiveness attains the good of both this world and the Hereafter. Furthermore, a servant's seeking the mercy of his Lord in this world and the Hereafter is a sign of having a good opinion of Allah. However, the intention should not be solely for this world, while neglecting the Hereafter.
