Is it permissible to perform laser operations to correct poor eyesight and do away with glasses?

It is permissible to perform laser eye surgery to correct vision if it is highly probable that it will succeed and not result in harm, in accordance with the Hadith: "There should be no harm or reciprocating harm." These procedures are not considered altering Allah's creation, and Islamic law does not prohibit what benefits a Muslim and strengthens their senses through permissible means.
