Is a wife's refusal of sexual intimacy with her husband considered unlawful (haram), especially if the refusal is not permanent and she fears God's wrath and his marrying another woman, while she feels no love for him and her perception of him is affected by previous problems?

If a wife refuses her husband without a valid excuse, this is forbidden and considered a major sin. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If a man invites his wife to his bed and she refuses to come, the angels curse her until morning."

If the wife dislikes sexual intimacy but responds to her husband's request, there is no sin upon her, as long as it does not result in injustice or the forfeiture of a right by showing aversion and annoyance.

Marital life does not depend solely on love; rather, it is built upon care, living together in kindness, patience, and overlooking mistakes.
