It is forbidden to work in places that sell prohibited items such as alcohol and pork, because it involves cooperation in sin and aggression. Allah Almighty says: (And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression). Repentance is obligatory for what was earned from this work. It is not permissible to benefit from any remaining ill-gotten gains. It is not lawful to remain among those who insult the Divine Essence. Prayer in a place where there is alcohol is valid and not invalidated, though it is disliked if one has a choice.
