It is not permissible to write down usurious debts, because this falls under cooperating in sin and aggression, which Allah has forbidden. The scribe thus incurs the curse of usury mentioned in the noble Hadith: "Allah has cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who gives it, the one who writes it, and its two witnesses," and he said, "They are all equal"; unless his work is limited to the calculations of non-usurious companies.
