The answer

The Saba'iyyah refers to the followers of Abdullah ibn Saba' the Jew, who feigned Islam and incited discord during the eras of Uthman and Ali, and was a cause for the emergence of some innovations. It may also refer to the tribes descended from Saba' ibn Ya'rub ibn Yashjub ibn Qahtan.
