If you are a tenant of an apartment under an old lease that perpetuates the tenancy, then this contract is void. You must surrender the apartment to its owner immediately upon his request, without delay or demanding compensation; otherwise, you would be a usurper and a sinner, even if the law permits its use. For all gain and benefit from this property is unlawful if you do not surrender it to its owner.
