1- Must I make up for the days in which my fasting and prayer were interrupted due to seeing different colors, such as yellow or murky discharges, knowing that it was not the usual menstrual blood that came down days later? 2- Will I be rewarded for fasting the entire Ayyam Al-Bid (White Days) due to my intention to fast, even though I did not complete it because of the onset of menstruation?

Yellowish and brownish discharges during the menstrual period are considered menstruation. Therefore, whatever the questioner sees during her menstrual days is considered menstruation, even if its total exceeds ten days, as long as it does not exceed fifteen days. If it exceeds fifteen days, then it is irregular bleeding (istihada). As for the intention to fast the White Days and not completing them due to a legitimate excuse, the one with the intention will be rewarded for it, because a mere intention is rewarded. And whoever intended good and did what he could of it, but was unable to complete it, will receive the reward of one who performed it.
