The scholars have not reported any specific statements regarding recitation during inhalation or exhalation. However, they have explicitly stated that whoever replaces one letter with another, or performs idgham (merging of letters) where it is not required, their prayer is not valid because they have not produced the required letter, whether this is due to inhalation, exhalation, or other causes that they are able to overcome. If one is unable to learn, their prayer is valid. But if they are able to learn, it is obligatory for them to do so, and they must make up all prayers performed during the period of their negligence.
