Is the wife sinful if she brings a domestic worker without the knowledge of her husband, who refused the worker's arrival, then remained silent when she informed him that she would bring her in his absence?

The Sunnah prohibits a wife from allowing anyone into her husband's home whom he dislikes, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "And you have a right over them that they should not allow anyone you dislike to step onto your beds [or into your homes]." This includes a non-mahram man, a woman, or any of the wife's mahrams. Silence is not always an indication of consent. The wife must ensure her husband's approval or try to persuade him. If the wife is someone who typically has a servant, she has the right to demand one, even by referring the matter to a Sharia court if necessary. However, understanding and dialogue between the spouses are preferable.
