How is the inheritance divided if the working wife shared with her husband in family expenses or in purchasing joint properties?

If a person dies, their private assets are divided among their legal heirs according to their prescribed shares in the Holy Quran. For the wife, it is one-quarter or one-eighth, and for the husband, it is one-half or one-quarter. As for joint properties, the deceased's share is separated and distributed among the heirs. For example, if a husband and wife jointly purchased an apartment equally, half of the apartment becomes the private property of the wife, and the other half is distributed among the heirs, including the wife. A woman's participation in household expenses is an act of kindness, not an obligation, and it does not affect her share of the inheritance.
