There are multiple ways to memorize the Quran at home (such as audio tapes, electronic programs, and websites), but these alone are not sufficient. Rather, correct recitation is only perfected through listening and reciting to a proficient reciter, who can ensure the correctness of the recitation. There is no harm in reciting to a reciter via the internet, even though direct recitation to a شيخ (teacher/scholar) is preferable.
