What is the ruling of the Shari'ah on a husband taking back his wife and divorcing her more than once?

So long as your husband divorced you after the end of your menstruation and before intercourse, his divorce is valid without dispute. And if he took you back during the waiting period, then divorced you, then took you back, then divorced you, he has effected three divorces upon you, and you are irrevocably separated from him by a major divorce. You are not lawful for him until you marry another husband after your waiting period ends, and that husband consummates the marriage with you, then divorces you or dies, and your waiting period from him ends.
