Should I accept marriage to a young man who is kind-hearted and well-mannered, but is intermittent in prayer and promised to become righteous after marriage?

The correct criterion for choosing a husband is his religious commitment and character, as stated in the Hadith: "If someone whose character and religious commitment you approve of comes to you, then marry him." Prayer is one of the greatest matters in religion, and abandoning it may be considered disbelief. If the young man becomes righteous, preserves his prayers, and becomes someone whose religious commitment and character are pleasing, then there is no objection to accepting him. However, if he is still negligent in his prayers, it is not advisable to accept him, for what matters is his condition at the time of the proposal, and choosing a righteous husband brings happiness in this world and the Hereafter.
