What is the ruling on working as an engineer in radio and television broadcasting equipment?

Most of what is broadcast by television media is not free from encompassing the forbidden. Therefore, it is not permissible to work in repairing the devices of these media outlets. The ways of earning lawful sustenance are many. Allah Almighty says: "And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out And will provide for him from where he does not expect."
