Is it permissible to pray in front of drawings?

If the drawings are of animals, prayer in front of them is not permissible, to avoid resembling those who worship them. This is also because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, the makers of these images will be tormented on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be said to them: 'Bring to life what you have created.'" And he also said: "Indeed, the house in which there are images will not be entered by angels." However, if they are of trees or natural landscapes, prayer in front of them is disliked because they distract the worshipper from humility (khushu').
