The answer

"Publishing and promoting advertisements with a financial subscription that may lead to profit or loss is considered forbidden gambling, as Allah Almighty says: 'O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone altars [to other than Allah], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may succeed.' (Quran 5:90). Legitimate means of earning are many. Ibn Mardawayh narrated, and Al-Albani graded it as good, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Indeed, the Holy Spirit has inspired in my soul that no soul will die until it has completed its provision, so fear Allah and be moderate in seeking it. And let not the slowness of provision lead you to seek it through disobedience to Allah, for what is with Allah cannot be attained except through obedience to Him.'"
