Is profit from uploading "respectable and beneficial foreign films that do not contain scandalous sexual scenes" to foreign websites, and their download by foreigners, permissible?

It is impermissible to work in the field of foreign films due to their prevalent inclusion of forbidden elements, such as the uncovering of 'awrah (intimate parts), vile acts, impermissible mixing of genders, and deviant ideas. This also makes it impermissible to watch or download them. Earnings from such work are considered ill-gotten (khabīth). However, for one who was ignorant of its impermissibility and has repented from it, he may benefit from what he has earned, as Allah Almighty says: "So whoever receives an admonition from his Lord and desists, he may have what is past, and his affair rests with Allah." It is obligatory to cease these dealings after learning of their impermissibility. As for animated films, one should refer to the specific fatwas issued to clarify what is permissible and what is not.
