Why was Surat Luqman given this name?

The Surah was named after the mention of the word "Luqman" in it, and naming Surahs after a word within them is common. The Salaf differed on whether Luqman was a prophet or a righteous servant. The majority opinion is that he was a righteous servant and not a prophet, as mentioned by Ibn Kathir.
