Are children who are disobedient to their father, who himself was disobedient to his own parents, sinful? And is the unjust ruler, whom God has set over the Muslims because of their sins, sinful?

God promised Paradise to those who obey and honor their parents, while whoever disobeys them exposes themselves to God's wrath and punishment. A disobedient child may be punished in this world by having their own children disobedient towards them. However, God did not command children to disobey their parents; rather, He commanded them to be dutiful. Therefore, whoever has harmed their parent should not do the same to their parent. And whoever dominates people who disobey God out of their own desires is an oppressor who has deviated from God's religion.
