A wife who does not inherit from her husband is one who has an impediment to inheritance, such as being a slave, or being of a different religion than her husband, or if she is the one who killed him. In these cases, she does not inherit.
A person is prevented from inheriting for one of three reasons: slavery, killing, and difference of religion.
