Is it sufficient for ritual bathing (ghusl) after major ritual impurity (janabah) to pour water over the head three times, then over the right side of the body three times, then over the left side three times, followed by ablution (wudu')?

There are two descriptions for ghusl (ritual bath) after major ritual impurity (janabah): an obligatory description that suffices the person and removes their impurity, and it consists of the intention and making water reach all parts of the body. And a complete description that combines the obligatory and the recommended, which involves washing the hands, then washing the private parts, then performing ablution (wudu), then pouring water over the head three times while running fingers through the hair, then pouring water over the right side of the body followed by the left. This is what the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did. Both descriptions are sufficient for men and women, knowing that a woman is not required to undo her braids if the water reaches the roots of her hair.
