How authentic is the attribution of the sayings to Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal, which include his opinion on Sufism, their audition (sama'), and their presence, and is what was narrated from Al-Hafiz Ibn Al-Akhdar and Sheikh Mansour Al-Bahuti in this regard correct?

Ibn Muflih narrated a report from Imam Ahmad that the Sufis listen and are present at the Qur’an, and some of them experience fainting and death, and that Imam Ahmad excused them. Ibn Hajar also narrated a story about Imam Ahmad that he was asked about Sufis sitting in mosques without knowledge, and he said: "Knowledge has made them sit." And when it was said that they dance when listening to (spiritual music), he said: "Leave them for an hour, they are rejoicing in their Lord." It should be noted that Sufism is not absolutely evil; it may refer to some ascetics who were firmly rooted in knowledge in the early centuries, and what matters is conformity to the Sharia, not the names. As for the Sufis of today, most of them are characterized by innovations and deviation, and salvation lies in adhering to the Qur’an and Sunnah.
