How many children did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) have from his loins, what was their order of birth, and what were their ages at death? What are the names of the Prophet's wives in sequence, and his concubines? Are concubines, like Maria the Copt, considered the same as wives?

The male children of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, were either four or three, and his daughters were four, by agreement.

His eldest child was Al-Qasim, then Zainab, then Abdullah, then Ruqayyah, then Umm Kulthum, then Fatimah. All of them were from his wife Khadijah, may Allah be pleased with her. They all embraced Islam, migrated, married, and had children (except for Umm Kulthum). All of them passed away during the Prophet’s lifetime, except for Fatimah.

His third son was Ibrahim, and his mother was Maria al-Qibtiyyah, may Allah be pleased with her. He was born in Medina and died there as a young child.

As for his wives, peace and blessings be upon him, they were twelve women.

His slave-women with whom he had sexual relations were four: Maria al-Qibtiyyah (mother of Ibrahim), Nafisah, Rayhanah, and one whose name was not mentioned. These slave-women are not counted among the Mothers of the Believers because they were concubines by right of ownership.
