Is one who buries a fetus that miscarried in its fourth month, without praying over it, sinful, knowing that it was buried in the cemetery and was a piece of flesh with no discernible features?

A pregnant woman is not sinful if her miscarriage is unintentional, and she should not be punished. However, if she caused the miscarriage, she has disobeyed Allah, and she is obligated to offer expiation (kaffarah) and the blood money (diyah) for the fetus (al-ghurrah). If the fetus has not completed four months, there is no sin in burying it without praying over it. But if it has completed four months, then according to the view that prayer over it is obligatory at this stage, you have erred and must repent. According to the view that it is not obligatory, there is no sin upon you.
