Is it obligatory to leave working for a company that deals with usurious banks, given the difficulty of finding alternative employment at the age of 55, especially since the nature of the work involves marketing usurious loans and collecting their installments?

One must abandon work that involves assisting in usurious transactions, due to Allah's saying: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression," and due to the saying of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "Allah has cursed the one who consumes Riba (usury), the one who feeds it, its scribe, and its two witnesses," and he added, "they are all equal." Furthermore, the difficulty of finding another job does not justify continuing in forbidden work, as long as the Muslim is not in a state of necessity.
