How can one achieve aspirations and avoid the unlawful (haram) amidst difficult financial circumstances, accumulated debts, and the inability to visit one's parents, along with the desire to complete postgraduate studies and purchase a car without falling into usury (riba)?

There is no blame upon a Muslim for striving for wealth and a dignified life, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "How excellent is righteous wealth for a righteous person." And his supplication: "O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency (or richness)." However, true richness is richness of the soul, not abundance of wealth, for how many a wealthy person is poor in spirit.

Beware of being eager for wealth by any means, for it corrupts religion. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, likened it to a hungry wolf let loose among sheep. A believer is keen on what benefits him, and if something eludes him, he does not grieve over it, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "So that you do not grieve over what has escaped you, nor rejoice over what He has given you."

Provisions are decreed, and no soul will die until it has received its full provision. Seek help from Allah and do not despair, and frequently recite the Prophetic supplication: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, and I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and miserliness, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and from being overpowered by men."

Get rid of incapacity and laziness, and invest your effort, intellect, and relationships, and do not blame fate for your shortcomings.
