A recently married sister to an imam and khatib in a Western country has two questions: The first is regarding the permissibility of drawing adornment on her body and wearing a nose ring to beautify herself for her husband, even though she wears a niqab. The second is that she is a second wife who loves her husband but suffers from intense jealousy towards his first wife and her children, and she seeks help in overcoming these feelings.

Drawing with a pure substance that can be removed, like henna, is permissible and does not fall under the prohibited tattooing. It is permissible to wear a nose ring for adornment if it is customary for women and causes no harm. A wife's jealousy over her husband is an innate female characteristic, but one must be careful not to overindulge in it. Whispers (waswas) can be repelled by seeking refuge with Allah from Satan, recalling the husband's good qualities, and avoiding delusions.
