Is it permissible to learn driving with a mahram present as an observer in a public place, without him getting into the car?

A woman riding alone with a male driver is haram (forbidden) according to the majority of scholars, because it constitutes an unlawful khalwa (private seclusion). However, some scholars have permitted it when there is no fear of fitna (temptation or discord). If it is impossible for a woman to train with another woman, and the distance is very short such that she does not disappear from the sight of her mahram (unmarriageable kin), and she is wearing proper Islamic hijab, then she might have leeway to adopt the view of those who permit it.
