The answer

It is not permissible to intentionally swallow blood that has come out of the mouth, as it is impure and invalidates the fast. However, if it reaches the stomach unintentionally, it does not invalidate the fast. Mucus that reaches the mouth from the nose invalidates the fast if it is swallowed after it has exited the mouth and then returned. As for what reaches the mouth from the inside, there is a difference of opinion, and some scholars have favored that swallowing it does not break the fast. Swallowing saliva does not invalidate the fast by consensus. The mere sensation of taste in the throat does not invalidate the fast according to many jurists, but it is advisable to avoid it if possible. Small remnants of food between the teeth do not invalidate the fast if swallowed. However, if there is a large amount and the fasting person intentionally swallows it, their fast is invalidated.
