What is the solution for the problem of a married woman who is unemployed, as is her husband, and who describes her situation as one of bad luck, despite her continuous prayers?

A wife's patience with her husband and her assisting him with her money indicate good manners and perfect character. The maintenance of the wife and children is obligatory upon the husband according to his ability, and he must strive to earn money to spend on his family, as this carries a greater reward.

The wife should advise her husband and encourage him to earn a living, and continue to pray and have a good opinion of Allah, for Allah does not disappoint those who hope in Him. If the wife does not find work outside the home, she should look for work from within it, such as teaching or handicrafts.
