Is it permissible for a man to take his wife’s egg, fertilized by him, and implant it into the womb of another woman for her to carry and give birth to a child for them, given his wife’s inability to conceive? And can a concession be taken in case of hardship?

This type of artificial insemination is absolutely forbidden due to the mixing of lineages it entails. Resolutions from jurisprudential councils have been issued prohibiting it.

One must fear Allah and avoid this forbidden method. And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out and will provide for him from where he does not expect.
