Is it permissible for a woman to pray the Eid prayer in congregation and for another woman to lead them?

It is prescribed for women to go out to the Eid prayer ground without adornment or perfume, and to witness the supplication of the Muslims. If she does not find a jilbab, she should borrow one from her sister. The Eid prayer is not obligatory for women; rather, it is a Sunnah, and they should pray it at the prayer ground with the Muslims. It is not prescribed to establish the Eid prayer for women in their homes, whether in congregation or individually, if they are able to go out to the prayer ground, as that is an innovation (bid'ah). It was not known from the Prophet (peace be upon him) nor from his Companions that women established the Eid prayer in their homes.
