How can pilgrims in Muzdalifah hasten and stone before Maghrib, and what about those residing in other neighborhoods of Makkah?

Pilgrims staying in Muzdalifah within the extension of the tents of Mina are considered as residents of Mina; they are required to depart for the hastening (ta'ajul) before sunset. They are permitted to leave if they have prepared themselves but are held back by congestion. As for those residing in places separate from Mina (such as neighborhoods of Makkah), it suffices for them to have the intention of hastening, to perform the stone-throwing, and to exit the boundaries of Mina before sunset. They may continue with their hastening if they are held back by congestion.
