What is the ruling on one who believes that the Virgin Mary married after giving birth to Jesus, and is he excused for his ignorance?

Mary, peace be upon her, never married, neither before the birth of Jesus, peace be upon him, nor after it. Ignorant Christians claim otherwise. It is stated in the Holy Quran that no man touched her before the birth of Jesus. As for after his birth, there is no explicit text proving or denying her marriage. It is best to stop where Allah Almighty has stopped us and not delve into matters of which we have no knowledge.
