What is your advice to a blind person who wants to acquire Islamic knowledge, and are there benefits in the biographies of Sheikh Ibn Baz and Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al Sheikh regarding this matter?

Wisdom and faith can be attained through sincerity to Allah and seeking His help. Blindness is not an impediment to seeking knowledge, as many blind individuals have excelled in various fields of knowledge, such as the scholar Ibn Baz. A blind student of knowledge should purify his intention for Allah and supplicate Him to grant him beneficial knowledge, and he should possess high ambition in his studies. He can use Braille for writing and revision, or rely on listening through tapes or a computer. He should repeat what he wishes to memorize until it becomes firm, and then present it to a memorizer or someone who can correct him. If possible, he should attend the gatherings of scholars and shaykhs, and seek assistance from a sighted friend. If that is not possible, he should listen to recorded explanations by major scholars, especially the explanations and lessons of Sheikh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen. He must guard his time and avoid engaging in disputes among contemporaries.
