Were the six directions existent with God before creation, and does the attribute of transcendence mean that He is in a specific place?

The six directions are conceptual for humans and similar beings. As for the universe and celestial bodies, they only have the two real directions of up and down. Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, is only attributed to one direction, which is absolute transcendence (Al-'Uluw Al-Mutlaq). If the attribute of transcendence is interpreted as a place, then the word is incorrect, but the meaning is correct.
